Oh, Joy! Details...

We get lots of questions about what to expect for Hallowdean so we've put together a list of the most commonly asked.  If you don't find what you're looking for here feel free to contact Zach.

What should we expect at Hallowdean?
Hallowdean will be a joyous occasion!  If you think of the framework more like a party and less like a traditional wedding, you'll have a better picture of the evening.  Dancing and other party shenanigans will follow our wedding ceremony.

Is this really a costume party?
Yes!  In fact, we may go a little bride-groomzilla if you opt out.  Important note: No scary costumes, please!  This especially goes for clowns.  Don't even think about coming as a clown.

Will there be a band?
Yes.  Milwaukee's very own Freddy and the Blifftones, featuring Fred Bliffert and my Godmother Aunt Chris (G-MAC) will be performing throughout the night.

Will dinner be served?
There will be donut cake (you read that right) around 8pm and some late night pizza delivered around 11pm, but there will be no formal dinner.  Enjoy some local fare before you arrive.

Is there an open bar?
Along with NA beverages, we'll have plenty of beer, wine, and champagne to share with everybody.

Are kids allowed?
It's up to you if you'd like to bring your kiddos.  We don't know what it's like to be parents and don't want to add any stress or exclude anyone.  Remember, it is a party: there will be alcohol and will go until midnight.  You might have more fun if you leave the kids at home with a babysitter.

Can we park onsite?
There is street parking available near Prosper, but it can get a little tricky to park in the evenings.  Milwaukee also has strange overnight parking rules and people seem to get tickets at random.  We recommend walking, carpooling, or taking a cab.
Please don't drink and drive.
